New users can follow this step-by-step guide to activate their hardware wallet.
You can recover your assets using one of the following methods:
1. Purchase a new Toba, import a previously backed-up recovery file, and restore your wallet.
2. Use the mnemonic phrase to restore your wallet in TobaToken or any BIP39-compatible wallet.
Note: If you're unsure which wallets support the BIP39 protocol, we recommend downloading TobaToken.
Toba functions as a decentralized hardware wallet. Even if Toba discontinues, you can restore your wallet using your mnemonic phrase in any decentralized wallet that follows the BIP39 standard.
Important: Avoid entering your mnemonic phrase into software wallets unless absolutely necessary.
The Toba wallet is protected by a PIN code. If five incorrect attempts are made, the device resets itself to safeguard your assets.
If your wallet is lost or stolen, it's recommended to get a replacement as soon as possible and restore your wallet using your recovery phrase.
